Soundcheck Nashville will be closed at all locations on Memorial Day, May 31st 2010, and the Sunday before.

As we start to settle into our temporary home, work on Cowan is moving at a brisk pace. Which is great, because we have receive calls from many of you asking when we are going to be back in the buildings on Cowan Street. Well, we have come up with a tentative timeline.
You should be able to start moving back into your lockers around the middle of June. We must have all gear out of the Ambrose warehouses by June 28th. Any gear that is moving back into Soundcheck must be cleaned and sanitized. We will have a space outside of the Ambrose warehouse were you can bring your power washer and clean and sanitize anything you want to save. For the items you are throwing away, please call and arrange for dumpsters to be available to you for disposing of your gear. You will be responsible for the disposing and for the dumpster fee. You may want to check with your insurance representative regarding disposal.
Once your gear is clean and ready to move back to Cowan, you’ll need to arrange trucking and labor. If you need assistance, please schedule cartage via the Soundcheck cartage line at 726-3591 . Just keep in mind that we will be in the process of moving our gear as well.
We already have people asking for and reserving locker space, so if you are moving back in please call and reserve the space you need. Several people have requested larger lockers but we know many people are not going to need as much space as they did before the flood. We ask that you start now to evaluate your needs and let us know as soon as possible.
We hope to have our offices moved back in by the first of July, and we hope to be doing rehearsals by the middle of July. Thank you friends, for your support.
Here are the hours we are going to be working on for the next month or so.
If you need to get in at another time, please call 615-726-1165 during the times listed above to schedual someone to meet you for a fee.
Backstage Custom Cases has set up shop in the 3427 Ambrose Ave. location to do re-foaming of cases. Come on by and get in line to have your case re-foamed. Please remember to clean all your cases and spray them with an anti-microbial solution to keep mold from setting up in the wood before having them re-foamed.
Everything is now out of Soundcheck. We have been working hard for the last 11 days since the flood began. Our Soundcheck Crew is absolutely exhausted. So here is the schedule we are going to follow for the next few days. This will be for all buildings at Ambrose and Elm Hill.
Saturday 8am – 4pm
Sunday Closed
Monday 8am – 5pm
We will be working 8am till 5pm for a while. Not sure yet about weekend hours.
Everyone has done such an awesome job getting their stuff out of the lockers, that we have bumped up moving the set carts to tomorrow. There will be a minimum charge for the set cart storage. We would like to have all of the set carts out by Thursday is possible.
Hi Everyone,
Just to let you know, we’ve received many of your amps and will begin working on them first thing Monday morning. We have a great temporary location sorted out. Big kudos to Ben & Katie Jumper, Jan, Matt, and everyone at Soundcheck for getting this sorted so quickly. We will be up and running ON MONDAY with a few tech rooms, an office, some workbenches, and even air conditioning! We will have phones and internet some time around mid week. Things are progressing rapidly in large part to the community effort. There are so many people to thank. Incidentally, most of our tools and test equipment came literally a few inches of being destroyed. Nearly all of the scopes, soldering stations, variacs, et al survived! Had they not, things would be much more challenging right now…
We have a good plan devised for amp triage. We are optimistic that we will be able to restore many amps to their original condition…or as close as humanly possible. The most important thing to know is DO NOT try to turn your amp on if it’s been flooded!!! The transformers will need to be tested and probably rebaked. Mercury Magnetics has kindly offered to provide this service to us (and you) free of charge. They have been extremely helpful…thank you Patrick and everyone at Mercury! We are eager to get started. These amazing amps and the story behind each and every one is truly awe inspiring. Our hope is to hear them played and enjoyed again by you along with the new story that each amp will now carry forward. Again, if you have any questions, please emailfixmyamp@toursupply.com .
Tour Supply will also be open at the new emergency facility this week. We lost a good bit of inventory but whatever we need immediately to fulfill orders can be shipped in from our other locations or from manufacturers. In many cases, manufacturers are providing assistance in the way of discounts and terms in order to assist in the recovery process. Any such benefit will be passed along to our clients. Thanks again so much to everyone who has helped out. We’re extremely grateful and are looking forward to getting back to work on Monday! Our Nashville office # is 615-251-9100 or you can emailblount@toursupply.com, michael@toursupply.com, or lance@toursupply.com and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.
Sincerely
Tour Supply, Inc.

You will get an auto reply, then you can drop off your amp at the repair triage which is located in the Soundcheck emergency warehouse.. Please call 952-212-8687 if you have any questions.
